Realme Pad Mini India Launch Teased, Realme Pad 5G Confirmed

Realme is all set to launch the Realme GT Neo 3 in the Indian market on April 29. Ahead of the GT Neo 3 launch, the brand has now started teasing the Realme Pad Mini India launch. Recently, a micro-site for the Realme Pad Mini has gone live on Flipkart as well as the Realme India Store. Although these launch micro-sites do not reveal the Realme Pad Mini India launch date, we can speculate that it could make its India debut alongside the GT Neo 3 on April 29.

Realme Pad 5G Confirmed

In the latest episode of AskMadhav, Realme Vice President Madhav Sheth also confirmed the existence of a premium tablet—the Realme Pad 5G. In response to a question, Sheth said “The Realme Pad 5G variant is in the making and you shall see some more information on it very soon”.

To those unaware, the company executives have talked about a premium tablet with an OLED display in the past a couple of times. We suspect that the upcoming Realme Pad 5G could be a premium tablet and might offer an OLED display.

Realme Pad Mini Specifications and Features

The Realme Pad Mini was launched earlier this month in the Philippines. The tablet offers an 8.7-inch LCD display with a 1,340 × 800 pixel resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T616 processor. The entry-level tablet sports a 6,400mAh battery unit under the hood and supports 18W fast charging over a Type-C charging port.

The Realme Pad Mini is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. It retails in grey and blue colour options. The Pad Mini offers a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro-SD card slot (supports up to 1TB cards), and a dual stereo speaker setup. It comes pre-loaded with Realme UI for Pad, based on Android 11.
