Realme has silently launched a new smartphone under the Q-series—the Realme Q5 Carnival Edition in China. This is the company’s fourth smartphone under the Q5 lineup. To those unaware, the brand already has the Realme Q5, Realme Q5i, and the Realme Q5 Pro under the Q5 series in China. The latest Q5 series smartphone from Realme is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and 12GB of RAM.

The Realme Q5 Carnival Edition comes in a single configuration—12GB + 256GB and is priced at ¥2,399 (around ₹28,365). It is already available for purchase in China. Realme hasn’t shared any details regarding the global availability of the device. We can expect it to launch in global markets but with a different moniker.

The Realme Q5 Carnival Edition flaunts a 6.6-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ (2,412 × 1,080 pixel) resolution, 401ppi pixel density, 120Hz refresh rate, and 600nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the latest Realme smartphone packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and an integrated Adreno 610 GPU. It comes paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Q5 Carnival Edition boots Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12.

The latest Q-series smartphone from Realme offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary shooter with an F1.8 aperture. Accompanying it is a 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP macro sensor. Selfies and video calls on the smartphone are taken care of by a 16MP shooter. The Realme Q5 Carnival Edition packs a 5,000mAh battery unit and supports 60W SuperDart fast charging.
The Realme Q5 Carnival Edition comes in three colour options—Racing Dusk, Glacier Chopping Waves, and Phantom Black. It weighs 195 grams and measures 164.3 × 75.6 × 8.5mm. It packs a Type-C charging port, a hybrid micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio port.
