Realme has announced that it will launch the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 update on October 13, 2021. The launch of Realme UI 3.0 comes right after Google released the first stable version of Android 12 yesterday. Realme claims that it will be the first OEM to upgrade its smartphones to the latest version of Android. The Realme UI 3.0 version will launch globally on October 13, and it won’t be limited to only the Chinese market. It is possible that the update will be released to a few Realme smartphones in the Indian market as well.
Apart from all the new Android 12 features that Google introduced with AOSP. the Realme UI 3.0 update brings some additional customization options and more features to compatible Realme smartphones.
Realme UI 3.0 Launch Date: October 13, 2021
When the Realme UI 3.0 update launches, the first smartphones to get the update will be from the Realme GT series: Realme GT 5G, Realme GT Master Edition, and Realme GT Neo 2 5G. It is being reported that the Realme GT Neo 2, which is launching in Europe and India will run Android 12 out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 skin. To recall, the smartphone was launched in China last month with Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 on board. Realme UI 3.0 was announced during the Realme GT Neo 2 launch event in China. However, the company had not revealed its launch date.
We can expect the Realme UI 3.0 version to bring in new privacy and security features, as well as, new customisation options, icons, and other tweaks that are based on Android 12. In the initial phase, Realme will release the new software in the form of a beta update to Realme GT series smartphone users. After beta testing, we can expect the company to roll out the stable Android 12 update to Realme GT phones over the next few weeks. The brand might also release a complete Android 12 roadmap over the next few weeks.

Realme GT Neo 2 5G Specifications, Features
Realme is already prepping for the launch of the Realme GT Neo 2 in India. Realme UI 3.0 was announced during the Realme GT Neo 2 launch event in China. However, the company had not revealed its launch date.
The Realme GT Neo 2 5G features a 6.22-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and comes packed with up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone features a triple-camera setup on the rear, including a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. To capture selfies, the device sports a 16MP front-facing camera. The smartphone comes packed with a 5,000mAh battery which supports up to 65W fast charging.
