Redmi 10 With 6.5-inch FHD+ Display, Helio G88 Processor Goes Official: Price, Specifications

After multiple leaks and rumours, Xiaomi has finally announced the Redmi 10 smartphone. The device comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. The panel has a 90Hz refresh rate and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G88 processor. Other key features of the Redmi 10 include 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 50MP quad-camera setup, an 8MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 Price, Availability

The Xiaomi Redmi 10 with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage is priced at $179 (₹13,300). The 4GB RAM version with 128GB storage has a $199 (₹14,785) price tag. On top of that, there’s a top-end model that ships with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This top-end version will set you back for $219 (₹16,270). The Redmi 10 comes in Carbon Grey, Pebble White, and Sea Blue colour options. The device will be available starting from August 20 globally. As of now, Xiaomi is yet to reveal the availability details for the Indian market.

Speaking of design, the Redmi 10 shares aesthetics with the Redmi Note 10 series. The phone comes with a rectangular camera module at the back and a punch-hole display on the front. It sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution and AdaptiveSync 90Hz (45/60/90Hz) refresh rate.

The Redmi 10 is Xiaomi’s first device based on the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. The smartphone runs Android 11 out of the box with MIUI 12.5 skin. It packs up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.

As for the optics, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 sports a quad-camera setup. The quad-camera module consists of a 50MP primary camera with an F1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone features an 8MP selfie camera.

Other key specifications include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and an Infrared sensor. A 5,000mAh battery fuels the device with 18W fast charging support. The handset measures 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92mm and weighs 181 grams.
