The rear carries a matte textured type finish that will be fingerprint and smudge resistant. It flaunts a big squarish floating island at the rear, which houses the cameras with LED flash and the physical fingerprint sensor.
At the front, it is expected to sport a massive 6.71-inch Full HD LCD display with possibly a 90Hz refresh rate. One negative would be the waterdrop notch that houses the front-facing snapper. Going by the images, there will be fairly thick bezels surrounding the display.
The company says the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon processor, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 680 chipset built on the 6nm process. It is an octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. The smartphone will lack 5G support if it is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset. It will be equipped with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 type internal memory.
In terms of the camera, it will carry a 50MP primary sensor, while the secondary camera is expected to be a useless depth sensor. The selfie camera specifications are unknown at this point.
According to the teaser, the new Redmi 10 for India will pack in a big battery, which could be a 5,000mAh one and will be coupled with fast charging. Expect the company to bundle in an 18-watt charger with the device. Flipkart has also started teasing the smartphone on its website. We will know more about the device near its launch.
