Recently, Redmi teased that it is planning to launch two new smartphones—the Redmi K50S and the Redmi K50S Pro. Tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the Redmi K60, the successor of the K50 series, will arrive later this year. To recall, the Redmi K50, K50 Pro and the K50 Gaming Edition were launched in China a few months back. The K50i arrived in India this week as a rebadged Redmi Note 11T Pro 5G.
Redmi K60: Rumoured Specifications, Features
According to rumours, the Redmi K60 series could launch either by the end of this year or early next year in China. Leakster Digital Chat Station states that the K60 series of smartphones could use a dual-platform strategy. They could be powered by MediaTek or Snapdragon chipsets manufactured on the TMSC’s 4nm process, depending on the region. It is speculated that the upcoming smartphones could come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000/ 9000+ chipsets or Snapdragon 8/ 8+ Gen 1 processors.
When it comes to the display, the K60 series could sport a flexible 2K panel with a punch-hole notch at the top. The smartphone could come with a 50MP main camera sensor. Furthermore, the Redmi K60 could come with “two fast charging solutions for 100W large batteries.” The leakster adds that the optical under-screen fingerprint sensor could make a comeback on the smartphone.

The device was spotted on the 3C certification website, which reveals that the smartphone will come with 120W fast charging. The K50 Ultra will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ or MediaTek Dimensity SoC under the hood. It could come with a large battery that could support 100W fast charging.
