Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S 8GB RAM, 128GB Storage Variant Launched In India: Price, Specifications

Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 10S in India in May 2021. The company had introduced two variants of the smartphone in the country. Both the variants had 6GB of RAM, while the storage varied at 64GB and 128GB versions. Now, Xiaomi has launched a new variant of the smartphone with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The rest of the specifications remain the same as earlier variants. The smartphone’s key specifications include a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio G95 processor, 64MP quad-camera setup at the rear, and a 13MP front-facing camera.

The variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at ₹18,499. The device will go on sale tomorrow via Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores across the country. Users with an ICICI Bank Credit Card can get a discount of ₹1,000 on the purchase of this new model. The device comes in Cosmic Purple, Deep Sea Blue, Frost White, and Shadow Black colour variants.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 1,100 nits peak brightness, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is equipped with MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G95 processor, which is accompanied by the ARM Mali-G76 GPU. The device packs up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, the Redmi Note 10S runs Android 11 out of the box with MIUI 12.5 on top.

The device has a quad-camera setup at the rear, consisting of a 64MP sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. For video calls and selfies, the smartphone uses a 13MP camera which is located beneath the punch-hole cutout.

Connectivity features of the device include a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The other specifications of the device include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a microSD card slot, infrared sensor, stereo speaker setup, Hi-Res Audio, and an IP53 water-resistant rating.
