The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series made its global debut just yesterday in China, and it consists of three devices: Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. Although the company is yet to reveal the global availability of these devices, a new finding by a reliable Xiaomi tipster, Kacper Skrzypek, suggests that the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will debut under the Xiaomi 11i series in India. If this turns out to be true, this won’t be the first instance when a Redmi Note series device will launch under its Xiaomi i series in India. Earlier this year, the company had launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G (Chinese variant) as the Mi 10i in the country.
Kacper looked into the MIUI Camera app code and revealed that the Redmi Note 11 Pro could launch as the Xiaomi 11i in India, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ could launch as Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge in the country. Xiaomi is going with the HyperCharge moniker due to the presence of 120W fast charging on the handset. To the unaware, the company refers its 120W fast charging technology as HyperCharger.
