Redmi Note 11S First Sale Goes Live

Xiaomi had launched its Redmi Note 11S alongside the Redmi Note 11 in the Indian market on February 9, 2022. While the Redmi Note 11 went on sale on February 11, 2022, the Redmi Note 11S goes on sale from today, almost two weeks after its launch. The Redmi Note 11S features an AMOLED display, high screen refresh rate, quad cameras, and a big battery, among others. 

Redmi Note 11S Price, Availability

The Redmi Note 11S went on sale today as promised. It is available in a sole 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant on Amazon for ₹17,500. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants are priced at ₹16,500 and ₹18,500 respectively, and are available on Mi.com. The handset comes in Horizon Blue, Space Black, and Polar White colour options. 

Redmi Note 11S Features, Specifications

The Redmi Note 11S smartphone sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 409ppi pixel density. The display supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut and can reach peak brightness levels of 1000nits. The display gets Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor built on the 12nm fabrication process. It is equipped with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and comes with up to 128GB of internal storage.  

In the camera department, the Redmi Note 11S comes with a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. The ancillary cameras include an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth camera. For selfie addicts, the handset comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Redmi Note 11S scores big on entertainment, as it gets a stereo speaker setup and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Z-axis linear vibration motor promises enhanced feedback during calls and gaming. Other noteworthy features include 4G, dedicated microSD card slot, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou. The smartphone runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11 out of the box.
