Redmi Note 11S India Launch on February 9

Xiaomi, back in November, launched the Redmi Note 11T handset in the Indian market. The company is now gearing up to launch its second handset in the Note 11 lineup in the country. Xiaomi took to social media channels to announce the Redmi Note 11S India launch date. As per the announcement, the handset will launch on February 9 in India. The teaser shared by the company showcases the handset in a blue colour variant. Let us take a look at the teaser.

Redmi Note 11S Design and Specifications

The teaser showcases the back panel of the upcoming Note 11S. According to the teaser, the handset will feature a quad-rear camera setup and a LED flash. The teaser also reveals that the handset will come with a curved back panel with a flat edge design. Apart from it, the teaser does not reveal anything about the upcoming handset.

Last week, the renders and key specifications of the upcoming Redmi Note 11S were leaked on the web. The handset is said to feature a 108MP quad-rear camera setup. The high-resolution sensor on the device is said to be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a couple of 2MP sensors. The Redmi Note 11S is also reported to come with a 90Hz AMOLED display.

Powering the Redmi Note 11S could be a MediaTek Helio processor. We are not expecting the handset to offer 5G connectivity since Xiaomi also has a Redmi Note T lineup for 5G-enabled handsets. The handset is expected to boot Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. Similar to other Redmi Note series devices, the upcoming Note 11S might also offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In other related news, Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 11 series for global markets on January 26. The Redmi Note 11 series for global markets is expected to consist of three handsets—the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. We wouldn’t be surprised if the company launches the Redmi Note 11S as well in the global launch event.
