Redmi Watch 2 Lite Launching In India On February 9

Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ in the Indian market on March 9. The company will also launch the Redmi Watch 2 Lite alongside the Redmi Note 11 Pro series devices in the event next week. The Watch 2 Lite had made its global debut back in October 2021 in global markets.

The upcoming Redmi Watch 2 Lite will be the company’s second smartwatch in the country. To those unaware, Redmi had launched its first-ever smartwatch—the Redmi Watch last year in the country.

Redmi Watch 2 Lite Specifications and Features

The Watch 2 Lite features a 1.55-inch TFT LCD display with a 320 × 360 pixel resolution and comes pre-loaded with more than 100 watch faces.

Additionally, it packs an optical heart rate sensor, a blood-oxygen sensor, an accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, and GPS. With the hardware inside, it supports 24-hour heart rate monitoring, SpO2 monitoring, stress level monitoring, and female mensural cycle tracking in addition to regular sleep, step, calories tracking.

The Watch 2 Lite is capable of tracking more than 110 sports modes including outdoor running, walking, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, treadmill, swimming, yoga, and more. The smartwatch also offers camera and music control features. It supports various other features such as Messages, Calls, Reminder notifications, Find My Phone, Do Not Disturb, and Idle Alerts.

The Watch 2 Lite is equipped with a 262mAh battery unit under the hood and can last up to 10 days on a single charge, under typical usage. The company says that it can last for up to 5 days under heavy usage.

Furthermore, it makes use of Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and can be paired with Android devices running Android smartphones 6.0 and above and iPhones running iOS 10.0 and above. It weighs 35grams and measures 41.2 × 35.3 × 10.7mm. It is also water-resistant up to 50meters with a 5ATM rating.

Redmi Watch 2 Lite Availability, Price

The Watch 2 Lite comes in six colour options—Black, Brown, Blue, Olive, Pink, and Ivory. We can expect it to launch for around ₹5,000 mark in India.
