Reliance Jio expanded its smartphone product portfolio in India with the launch of the JioPhone Next a few weeks ago. The JioPhone Next is marketed as the most affordable 4G smartphone in India. The device features a 5.45-inch HD+ display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor. The smartphone has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 13MP rear camera. Now, it looks like the telco is planning to introduce a tablet and a smart TV as well. 91Mobiles claims to have learned from tipster Mukul Sharma that Jio is working on the Jio Tablet and the Jio TV, and both products could launch next year.

However, we can expect the Jio Tablet to run the Pragati OS out of the box, which is based on Android 11 Go Edition. The tablet might offer a larger display and Google Play Store. We can expect the company to use an entry-level Qualcomm chipset to power the upcoming tablet. The Jio Tablet price in India can be on the aggressive side, considering the competition from the likes of Motorola, Realme, and Samsung in the tablet segment.
If we were to guess the features of the Jio TV, it could offer smart features and it could be based on the Android TV OS. It could run all the OTT (audio and video streaming) apps. We also can expect the telco to bundle the set-up box with the Jio TV, something that the brand is offering with Jio Fiber broadband.
Apart from the Jio TV and the Jio Tablet, the telecom operator also has a Jio Laptop in the works. The Jio Laptop specifications have already been leaked in the past. It is expected to feature an HD resolution (1,366 X 768 pixels) display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB eMMC onboard storage, 4G LTE, Mini HDMI port, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The laptop could also come preloaded with JioMeet, JioStore, Microsoft Teams, Edge, and Microsoft Office apps.
