Samsung just announced its latest entry-level handset—the Samsung Galaxy A03. The handset comes with an entry-level processor and a large HD+ (1,560×720 pixels) display. The Galaxy A03 also offers a 48MP dual rear camera setup and 5,000mAh battery. The company hasn’t revealed the pricing and the availability of the handset for the Indian market. The Samsung Galaxy A03 will offer a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display bearing the aforementioned HD+ resolution and a water-drop notch, which Samsung refers to as an Infinity-V display. Moving on to the cameras, the Galaxy A03 comes with a dual rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the handset is a 48MP sensor coupled with a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the handset offers a 5MP front shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy A03 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A (formerly Spreadtrum) processor, clocked at 1.6GHz. It also features an IMG8322 GPU that takes care of graphics subsystem. The latest A-series handset comes in three variants: 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB. Samsung has also included a dedicated micro-SD card slot on the handset, so users will have the option to expand storage by up to 1TB. The upcoming Galaxy handset will ship with Android 11 based OneUI, similar to other Galaxy devices.

The company hasn’t revealed details about the charging port used or speed at which the handset is recharged. However, we can expect it to offer 15W fast charging and a USB Type-C charging port. The phone weighs 206g and measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1mm.
Network and connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and GLONASS. The handset will retail in Black, Blue and Red colour variants.
