Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Pricing, Release Date Revealed

At the beginning of this month, Samsung had announced a new Galaxy A-series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G. During the launch of this new handset, Samsung only revealed the specifications of the device without disclosing the pricing and release date details. However, that changes now, as Samsung has announced the Galaxy A23 5G release date and pricing details. The Galaxy A23 5G will debut in Taiwan next month, and it will go on sale in the country starting September 16, 2022.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Pricing, Release Date

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will retail for NTD 8990 (roughly ₹23,800) for the 4GB + 64GB model in Taiwan, while the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs NTD 9990 (roughly ₹26,500). The device comes in black, peach, and blue colours.

In addition to the Galaxy A23 5G, Samsung has also confirmed the release of the Galaxy A13 for the Taiwan market. The Galaxy A13 costs NTD 6,990 (roughly ₹18,500) for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model, while the variant with 6GB of RAM costs NTD 7,990 (roughly ₹21,200). The smartphone ships in three colour options— black, blue and white colours.

The Galaxy A23 5G sports a 6.6-inch LCD display that has Full HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone packs an octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor, up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The phone runs Android 12-based OneUI custom skin out of the box. In terms of imaging, the device features a triple-camera setup. The camera module includes a 50MP main camera and a pair of 2MP depth and macro camera units.

The device features a 5,000mAh battery that has 25W fast charging support. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone has features such as 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging. The phone also has an AI face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy A13 is equipped with a Dimensity 700 SoC. The device packs up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset boots Android 12 OS with a layer of One UI 4.1 out of the box. The back of the device contains a quad-camera setup.

The camera array includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro and depth camera sensor. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch. It packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
