Samsung A32 One UI 4.1 (Android 12): Highlights
The new One UI 4.1 operating system is more intuitive and fluid for the user. You get customised colours in the UI based on the wallpaper owing to the Android 12 theming engine. The colour changes will be applied to navigation menu buttons, backgrounds, and other elements in the UI. The home screen comes with an uncluttered look and redesigned widgets that offer more information.
There will be widgets on the lock screen that will allow you to control your music player, make notes, check for reminders, check the calendar, make voice memos, and more without unlocking your device. You can even transfer the audio output from earbuds to the speakerphone via the lock screen itself.
The updated Gallery allows you to keep it organised and find your data without much fuss. The Gallery gets automatic highlight videos, which can be accessed just by tapping on the story. Also, it provides you with the location data of the pictures. Edited pictures can be reverted to their original state even after they’re saved. You can select multiple pictures and make changes to their date, time, and location with ease.
The One UI 4.1 photo and video editor brings new emojis and stickers to add a bit more fun to your memories. You can create dynamic moving collages of videos, images, or both. The new Light Balance feature makes dark images look brighter. The Highlight Reels feature uses AI to add music and transitions to your pictures and videos automatically.
AR Emojis allow you to create your digital avatars and use them in messages, pictures, videos, and more. Moreover, you can make dance videos with your AR Emojis. Budding fashion designers can experiment by designing clothes for their emojis.
The update comes with enhanced privacy features. You can check for apps that are accessing the camera, location, or microphone and deny permissions. A green dot on the top left portion of the notification panel will notify you when the camera or microphone is being accessed. Furthermore, the quick panel controls will allow you to block all apps from accessing the camera and microphone. That’s not all, you can even fake your location to fool apps if you are not comfortable sharing your actual location.
The update brings a host of other features and changes. You can check the complete changelog here.
