Samsung Galaxy A52s Android 12 Update (One UI 4.0) Released In India: New Features, Screenshots

Samsung has started rolling out the OneUI 4.0 Stable update for the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G handset. The update comes with firmware version A528BXXU1BUL7/ A528BODM1BUL7/ A528BXXU1BUL5, and is based on Android 12. The update also brings the latest January 2022 Android security patch to the handset. The latest version of Samsung’s proprietary Android skin—the OneUI 4.0 comes with a host of new features and changes. Samsung has implemented Google’s Material You UI, so the accent colour changes based on the wallpaper. Apart from it, the update also brings other features such as Color Palette, Enhanced Dark Mode, all-new widgets, Face Stickers, Camera and Microphone Indicators, and a lot more.

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G users in India can head over to Settings -> Software Update to download the update. The update might be rolling out in phases, so it might take up to a few days for the update on appear on your unit. Apart from India, Android 12 Stable update for Samsung Galaxy A52s handset is also rolling out in European region.

The Galaxy A52s features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ (1080×2400 pixel) resolution, 800nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, that is fabbed on a 6nm process. It comes coupled with an integrated Adreno 642L GPU.

The Galaxy A52s offers a quad-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the device is a 64MP sensor with OIS support. Accompanying it is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies, the handset has a 32MP shooter inside a punch hole notch.

The Galaxy A52s is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery unit and 25W fast charging support. The handset has a Type-C charging port, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, a micro-SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Audio. It also features IP67 water resistant rating and supports Samsung Pay feature.
