Samsung Galaxy A73 5G Price in India Leaked, Tipped to Start at ₹41,999

Last month, Samsung announced the Galaxy A73 5G alongside the Galaxy A33 5G. However, the company did not reveal the smartphone’s pricing during the launch. Now, a new report reveals that the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G will start at ₹41,999 in India for the 8GB + 128GB storage option. According to a report by Pricebaba, in collaboration with tipster Mukul Sharma, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G will be available in two storage options. For now, the RAM capacity is limited to 8GB. The 128GB variant is said to retail for ₹41,999 while the 256GB model will be available for ₹44,999.

The Galaxy A73 5G gets three colour options—Awesome Mint, Awesome Grey, and Awesome White. It can now be pre-booked through Samsung India’s online store, retail stores, and select online portals.

The latest A-series handset, the A73 5G, sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a centred punch hole for housing the selfie camera. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5.

The smartphone is powered by a 6nm-based octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with 8GB RAM. The handset boots Android 12-based One UI 4.1. Samsung promises four years of Android OS updates and five years of security patch updates.

For photography, the Galaxy A73 5G flaunts a quad-rear camera setup with a 108MP camera (with support for optical image stabilization) paired with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an F2.2 aperture. There are dual 5MP shooters for macro and depth. On the front, users get a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, there’s a 5,000mAh battery cell with support for 25W fast charging. Connectivity options on the A73 5G include dual-SIM, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, and Glonass. There’s a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
