Samsung has launched a new smartphone in India, refreshing its F series with the introduction of the Galaxy F23. The handset sports a 120Hz display, and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 750G chipset with a 5,000mAh battery. The specifications of the phone were leaked just a few days back. Surprisingly, this new mid-range smartphone ships without a charger in the box.

Samsung Galaxy F23 Price in India
Samsung has launched the Galaxy F23 in two storage options. The 4GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹17,499, whereas the higher 6GB RAM option with 128GB of internal memory costs ₹18,499. The smartphone is available in two colour options—Dark Green and Mint. It will go on sale via Flipkart and Samsung’s official online store.
Samsung Galaxy F23 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy F23 is built around a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC paired with the Adreno 619 GPU. The Galaxy F23 comes in two memory variants — 4GB and 6GB.
For optics, the Galaxy F23 houses a rectangular triple rear camera module comprising a primary 50MP Samsung JN1 shooter, a secondary 8MP ultrawide camera with a 123-degree FoV, and a tertiary 2MP sensor. On the front, there’s an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
Fueling the smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Note that the smartphone ships without a charger in the box, and the accessory needs to be purchased separately. The smartphone runs Android 12 based OneUI 4.1 out of the box and the company has promised 2 years of software updates. The handset has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
