The Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition was launched in India yesterday. The Samsung smartphone is a slight upgrade compared to the Galaxy M21 (2020) that was launched by the South Korean firm last year. The Galaxy M21 2021 comes with a slightly different design and a newer rear-facing camera sensor. All the other specifications remain similar to the original Galaxy M21. The device features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 9611 processor, up to 6GB RAM, a 48MP triple-camera setup, and a 6,000mAh battery.

The variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs ₹14,499. The Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition comes in two colours: Arctic Blue and Charcoal Black. The device will go on sale in India through Amazon, Samsung.com, and authorised offline retailers starting July 26, 2021.

The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that has Full HD+ resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The display panel has 420 nits brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 9611 chipset. The phone comes in 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage, and a microSD card slot. The device runs Android 11 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI Core 3.1 skin. The phone comes equipped with a rear-facing capacitive fingerprint sensor.
In terms of imaging, the M21 features a triple-camera setup at the rear. The camera module incorporates a 48MP primary camera with PDAF (Phase-Detection Autofocus), an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the handset has a 20MP selfie camera unit. The phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that has 15W fast-charging support. Connectivity-wise, the device offers a dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
