Samsung had rolled out the One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 OS for its Galaxy M31 in India a couple of weeks back. Now, it has started seeding the update for its Galaxy M31s smartphone, which is essentially the same phone with a few feature additions. The Galaxy M31s was launched back in 2020 and came with One UI 2.5 based on Android 10 out of the box. Now, the two year old smartphone will receive its second major Android operating system update. Samsung is currently rolling out the update in Russia, and will eventually reach other regions in a few days/weeks.
The One UI 4.1 update based on Android 12 comes with a firmware version M317FXXU3DVD4. The update promises to fix over 50 privacy and security vulnerabilities which stem from the bundled March 2022 security patch. It is also said to improve the overall system stability.
