Samsung Launches Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition With Customisable Colour Panels

Samsung had launched the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in August 2021 and it has been flying off the shelves. Much of the credit goes to its unique foldable design which provides both style and function in a single package. Also, the K-Pop sensation music group BTS has been instrumental in its success in a few countries, especially in its home country South Korea. Samsung has reported over one million combined sales of its Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 in South Korea. At the Unpacked 2021 Part 2 event held on October 20, the company announced the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition, which offers customizability to make it stand out in comparison to the standard version.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition is targeted towards the stylish, trendy, and fashionista crowd who don’t find the standard colour options exciting enough. It gives the buyer an option to customise the look of the foldable phone with up to 49 possible colour combinations. The front and back glass panels on the phone can be selected with a mix and match of various colours: Black, Blue, Pink, White, and Yellow. The frame and the hinge of the phone can be chosen between Black and Silver finishes.

The company says a lot of research and analysation has gone into creating colour options, which will perfectly complement each other no matter the combination chosen by the buyer. Users also get to check out a 360-degree view and a downloadable image of their customised handset. Once the order is through, the devices are tailor-made and come with unique packaging. It arrives with a Bespoke Edition wallpaper applied and a Cover Screen that matches the device’s colours.

Samsung is also offering Bespoke Upgrade Care exclusively for Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition. It allows the users to change the panels of their Galaxy Z Flip 3 whenever they wish to, albeit with an additional fee. Users can visit Samsung.com and place their request to replace their device panel with new colours. Additionally, Bespoke Edition comes with 12 months of Samsung Care+ protection, which includes screen replacement, water damage, and back cover replacement.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition has 256GB storage and it is priced at $1,099 (around ₹83,000) in the US, which is $100 more than the standard version of the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Users wishing to replace panels at a later stage via Bespoke Upgrade Care will have to shell out another $79. The Bespoke Edition foldable handset will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, South Korea, the USA, and the UK.

Unfortunately, buyers in India can’t buy this special-edition phone. They can instead opt for the standard Galaxy Z Flip 3 starting at ₹84,999 on Samsung.in, Amazon, Flipkart, and other Samsung authorised retailers.
