Samsung has officially shared more details about the One UI 5.0 stable update at Samsung’s Developer Conference 2022 (SDC). The company has announced that it will release the stable One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13 for the Galaxy S22 series in October 2022. The company recently released the fourth One UI 5.0 beta for its Galaxy S22 series. As of now, it’s unclear whether the fourth One UI 5.0 beta update will be the last one until the stable release arrives. Samsung is also set to reveal the full roadmap of the One UI 5.0 rollout by the end of this month.

The One UI 5.0 update includes a new expanded Color Palette feature, stacking widget, redesigned notification panel, enhanced language and sound settings, improved accessibility features, new DeX UI improvements, and much more. The new One UI 5.0 software version also includes a more powerful search option, lots of emoji, AR Emoji feature, RAM Plus customization, Edge panel improvements, and more.
In a piece of related news, Samsung has rolled out new One UI 5.0 beta builds for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy A52. The brand has started rolling out the third One UI 5.0 beta update for the Galaxy S21 series in South Korea as well as Europe. The newly rolling out software update for the S21 lineup is 1.2GB in size and it also includes the October 2022 Android security patch. On the other hand, the Galaxy A52 has received its second One UI 5.0 beta update. The new software update for the A52 includes firmware version SVJ2. The update is currently rolling out for the A52 in the Indian market.
