Sony has added a new soundbar, dubbed the HT-S400, to its audio line up in India. The soundbar is said to provide a cinematic surround sound experience by combining the Dolby Digital and S-Force PRO Front Surround technology. Furthermore, the new Sony HT-S400 soundbar speakers feature a wireless subwoofer, 2.1-Channel, 330W of power output, and intuitive controls for wireless connectivity, among other features. The Sony HT-S400 soundbar price in India is ₹21,990. The soundbar is currently available for purchase via all Sony Centers, e-commerce platforms, the ShopatSC portal, and major electronic stores.

The newly launched Sony HT-S400 sports X-balanced rectangular speakers, which maximize the diaphragm size. As a result, it helps lower the driver excursion and improve vocal clarity. As mentioned earlier, the soundbar combines Dolby Digital and S-Force PRO Front Surround by using Sony’s digital sound field processing technology to offer cinematic surround sound.

Additionally, the new Sony soundbar comes with a powerful 160mm wireless subwoofer that is meant to deliver a deeper and richer bass output. The rear panel of the subwoofer is designed using Sony’s originally developed recycled plastic. The speaker also comes equipped with Dolby Digital, Dolby Dual mono, and LCPM 2ch technologies. The Sony HT-S400 offers 330W of power and includes an HDMI ARC one-cable connection. The soundbar also supports Bluetooth v5.0, RX, and SBC codecs.
