Sony is gearing up to launch a new smartphone, dubbed the Sony Xperia 1 IV, soon in the market. While there’s still some time left for the brand to take the wraps off the device, a new leak has popped up on the internet, which gives us a working clue as to what the device will look like. Some key specifications of the Sony Xperia 1 IV have also been leaked. Let’s take a look.

The fourth generation Sony Xperia 1 will feature a tiny bezel at the top, which will house the front camera of the device.

At the back, the device will feature a minimal design with a vertically aligned quad rear camera setup. The Sony Xperia 1 IV will come with ZEISS T* branding, so we can expect impressive photography and videography experience with the device. At the top of the camera module, we can see an LED flashlight. Furthermore, there’s an NFC logo embedded at the back of the device.
The volume up and down buttons and the power button are on the right side of the device. By the looks of it, the power button will double as a fingerprint scanner, even though the device’s display is expected to be AMOLED. The report further claims that the Sony Xperia 1 IV will ditch a 3.5mm headphone jack. Though not confirmed, the Sony Xperia 1 IV is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 888+ or the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The device is also touted to feature support for fast charging. Its battery details, however, are unknown for now.
