TCL C825, C728, C725 4K QLED Smart TVs With Dolby Vision Launched in India, Price Starts at Rs. 64,990

TCL, the Chinese TV brand, has unveiled three new C-series Smart TVs in India: TCL C825, TCL C728, and TCL 725. These new TVs feature 4K resolution, HDR with Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced certification, Game Master, and much more. The TCL C825 comes in two sizes: 55-inch and 65-inch. It features a 4K mini-LED display, a 1.6GHz quad-core MediaTek MT9615 processor, and 3GB RAM. On the other hand, the TCL C728 and the TCL C725 come in three different sizes and use a 4K QLED display, a quad-core processor, 2GB/3GB of RAM, and 20W/24 stereo speakers. All the new C-series Smart TVs run the Android 11 operating system.

TCL C825 4K mini-LED TV Specifications, Features

As mentioned above, the TCL C825 mini-LED TV comes in two sizes: 55-inch and 65-inch. Both these models have a 4K UHD mini-LED display panel with a 178-degree viewing angle. The TV support Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, ‘IMAX Enhanced’ certification, and 120Hz MEMC (Black Frame Insertion). They use TCL’s AIPQ Engine to upscale non-4K content to 4K resolution (using AI Super-Resolution). The TCL C825 also has a 1080p wide-angle magic camera for making video calls. It runs the Android 11 operating system with the Google TV interface that Google had unveiled a few months ago.

Under the hood, the TCL C825 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT9615 processor. This smart television has hands-free voice control 2.0, Google Assistant, and Alexa support, which means that you can give voice commands without using the remote controller. Connectivity-wise, the TV offers Wi-Fi 6 (dual-band 802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax), an HDMI 2.1 port, Bluetooth 5.2, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet port, and a AV port. As for the sound output, the TCL C825’s 55-inch model is equipped with a 20W speaker setup, while the 65-inch has 60W speakers with a built-in woofer for high-quality audio. These speakers also offer Dolby Atmos audio.

TCL C728 4K QLED Specifications, Features

The TCL C728 QLED TV comes in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch screen sizes, and uses 4K QLED display panels. The display offers a 178-degree viewing angle, HDR10, Dolby Vision IQ, 120Hz MEMC (Black Frame Insertion), and AIPQ Engine (AI-powered 4K upscaling). Powering the TCL C728 is a quad-core MediaTek MT9615 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of eMMC 5.0 storage. Connectivity-wise, this smart television has Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax), HDMI 2.1 port, HDMI 1.4 port, Bluetooth 5.2, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet port, and an AV port. It runs Android 11 and has hands-free Google Assistant and Alexa. The TCL C728 is equipped with 20W speakers with Dolby Atmos. Last but not least, the TV also uses Game Master for better performance gaming.

TCL C725 4K QLED TV Specifications, Features

Similar to the C728, the TCL C725 QLED TV comes in three different sizes – 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. All these three models have a 4K UHD QLED display which offers a 178-degree viewing angle, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, MEMC, and AIPQ Engine. Powering the TCL C725 series TVs is a 1.3GHz quad-core RT51M processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB eMMC5.0 storage.  All the C725 Smart TVs run the Android 11 operating system and have hand-free Google Assistant and Alexa support. The television is equipped with a front-facing camera on the top for video-calling.

The TCL C725 SmartTV range also has MagiConnect support for mobile casting. As for the connectivity purpose, these TV has dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 b/g/n/ac), HDMI 2.1 port, two HDMI 1.4 port, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, Ethernet port, and an AV port. For the audio, the TCL C725 is equipped with 24W speakers that future Onkyo sound system with Dolby Atmos support.

TCL C825, C728, & C725 Pricing, Availability

The TCL C825 price starts at ₹1,14,990 for the 55-inch model, while the 65-inch variant of the TV retails for ₹1,49,990. The TCL C825 mini-LED TV will be available from July 7 and is already up for pre-order from Reliance Digital’s online and offline stores.

The TCL C728’s 55-inch variant is priced at ₹79,990, while the 65-inch and 75-inch models cost ₹1,02,990 and ₹1,59,990, respectively. The TCL C728 lineup will be available exclusively from TCL India online store. No availability date has been mentioned yet.

The 50-inch version of the TCL C725 4K QLED TV costs ₹64,990. The 55-inch and 65-inch versions of the TV are priced at ₹72,990 and ₹99,999, respectively. The TCL C725 Smart TVs will be available from Amazon.in from July 7, 2021.
