Tecno has launched its latest Spark series smartphone—the Tecno Spark 8C in India today. The Tecno Spark 8C was first announced by Tecno last month in Nigeria. The Spark 8C is an entry-level smartphone from the company which boasts of a 6.6-inch HD+ display. The device is powered by an octa-core Unisoc processor and packs 3GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone features a 13MP dual-camera setup and packs a 5,000mAh battery. Tecno Spark 8C Price In India, Availability

The Tecno Spark 8C is priced at ₹7,499. The device comes in a single 3GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The smartphone can be purchased starting from February 24 via Amazon. The handset is available in four colour options which include Diamond Grey, Iris Purple, Magnet Black, and Turquoise Cyan.

The Tecno Spark 8C features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ 720 x 1612 pixels resolution. The display panel has a 90Hz refresh rate, 89.3% screen-to-body ratio, and a pixel density of 262 PPI. The screen boasts of a water-drop-shaped cutout at the top which includes the selfie camera. The device ships with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Powering the device is an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC. The smartphone has 3GB of Virtual RAM support. As for the software, this latest Spark series device boots Android 11 out of the box with HiOS v7.6 on top.

Moving to the imaging department, the Spark 8C features a dual-camera setup at the back. The camera module includes a 13MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an AI lens. For selfies and video-calling, the device sports an 8MP camera. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which is claimed to offer 13 hours of music playback time, up to 89 days of standby time, and up to 53 hours of calling time. The device also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, DTS stereo sound support, a microSD card slot, and an IPX2 splash-resistant rating.

Dimension-wise, the handset measures 164.57 × 76 × 8.95mm. Connectivity-wise, the Spark 8C offers features such as 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM card support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
