Tecno Spark 9 India Launch Set For July 18: Expected Price, Specifications

Back in June, Tecno introduced the Tecno Spark 9 Pro and the Spark 9T smartphone. Now, the brand is preparing to add a new device in the Spark 9 series lineup, dubbed the Tecno Spark 9. As per the details revealed by Tecno on its official Twitter handle, the Tecno Spark 9 will launch in India on July 18, 2022. The microsite related to the device is already live on Amazon, which reveals the key specifications of this upcoming smartphone. Let’s check out what the Tecno Spark 9 vanilla model will offer.

Tecno Spark 9 Price In India, Availability

According to Tecno, the upcoming Spark 9 will be the first smartphone to come with 11GB RAM under the ₹10,000 price range in India. The Tecno Spark 9 will have a water-drop-shaped notch at the top of the display which will house a selfie camera. The handset will feature a dual-camera setup at the back which will be accompanied by an LED flash. The smartphone will debut in Sky Mirror and Infinity Black colour options. Interested buyers will be able to purchase the Spark 9 in India from Amazon’s website.

Tecno Spark 9 Specifications (Expected)

Moving onto the other key specifications of the handset, the Spark 9 will feature a 6.6-inch display with an HD+ resolution. The display panel will have a 90Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the device will be powered by an octa-core Helio G37 processor. The handset will pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will also have a 5GB Virtual RAM support feature.

As for the software, the Spark 9 will run Android 12 out of the box with HiOS 8.6 UI on top. As mentioned above, the smartphone will come with a dual-camera setup. The device will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit. Additionally, the Tecno Spark 9 will be priced at under ₹10,000 in India.
