Lately, the internet is flooded with leaks surrounding the launch of Apple’s next generation iPhone 15 series. The lineup is said to consist of four models. There have been reports suggesting that the upcoming iPhone models will adopt USB Type-C charging in 2023. As per the latest update, Apple might redesign the entire iPhone 15 lineup to include new chassis that will be made of titanium. The glass panel on the back is expected to sport round edges for the upcoming iPhone 15 phones.

While the front of the smartphone will remain flat, we might get to see a smoother transition between the side frame of the phone and the back glass.
As mentioned earlier, the upcoming iPhone 15 series of smartphones will feature titanium chassis, which will provide a more comfortable grip for users. Plus, the titanium build will make the handsets lighter in weight. The tipster further states that the iPhone maker has not yet finalized the changes. Based on previous leaks, Apple will switch mechanical volume buttons with taptic engine powered solid state buttons in the iPhone 15 next year. The new buttons on the upcoming iPhone 15 will function like the home button in the iPhone SE or the iPhone 7. It was a solid state button that felt like a real button thanks to the Taptic Engine, present on either sides of the frame of the phone.
