Vivo has launched VivoT1 5G smartphone in India. The Vivo T1 is the rebranded version of the iQOO U5 that was launched in China in December. The mid-range smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It device has a big LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 50MP triple-rear camera setup on the rear.

Vivo T1 5G Price In India, Availability

The Vivo T1 5G price in India starts at ₹15,990 for the 4GB RAM variant and goes as high as ₹19,990 for the 8GB RAM variant. It will be available in three configurations: 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.

The handset will be sold via Flipkart and Vivo India Online Store. It will go on sale starting February 14, 2022. As a launch offer, Vivo is also offering a ₹1,000 discount on purchases made via HDFC debit and credit cards.

The Vivo T1 5G flaunts a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution (2,408 × 1,080 pixels), 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The handset also features a waterdrop notch that houses the front-facing camera.

Under the hood, the Vivo T1 5G sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor which is fabbed on TSMC’s 6nm process. The chipset comes with an integrated Adreno 619 GPU and the Snapdragon X51 5G modem. This is the same processor that powers other mid-range phones such as the Motorola Moto G71, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

The handset comes with 128GB UFS 2.2 onboard storage. However, the company is providing users an option to choose between 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM. Users also have an option to expand the RAM up to 4GB with the Extended RAM feature. The smartphone comes preloaded with Android 12-based FunTouchOS 12.0 software.

In terms of cameras, the Vivo T1 5G has a triple-rear camera setup and a LED flash on the rear. The primary camera uses a 50MP sensor with an F1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it uses a 16MP sensor with an F2.0 aperture. It supports various camera modes such as Portrait, Night, Live Photo, Time-lapse, and more. However, the Night Mode is not available in the 4GB RAM variant.

The Vivo T1 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It has a USB Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a hybrid microSD card slot. In terms of connectivity, it offers dual-SIM card slot, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.

It measures 164.0×75.84×8.25mm and weighs 187g. The Vivo T1 5G will be sold in two colour variants: Rainbow Fantasy and Starlight Black.
