Vivo V23 Launch Date, Key Specifications Tipped

Vivo is prepping up for the launch of the Vivo V23 series smartphones with the upcoming Vivo V23 lineup. It is expected to include two devices, namely, the Vivo V23 and the Vivo V23 Pro. It is reported that both these devices will arrive as a rebranded version of the Vivo S12 and the Vivo S12 Pro respectively, which debuted in China recently. While we wait for the launch date of these devices, the key specifications of the vanilla Vivo V23 model have emerged courtesy of MySmartPrice. Apart from the specifications, the launch date of the V23 lineup is also tipped via the leaked poster, which 91Mobiles has detailed.

Vivo V23 Launch Date, Key Specifications Leaked

According to the leaked poster, the Vivo V23 series will launch in India on January 4 2022. The launch date poster reveals that these upcoming smartphones will house a dual selfie camera. As far as the leaked specifications of the Vivo V23 are concerned, the handset will come powered by an octa-core Dimensity 920 processor. The device will launch in 8GB/12GB RAM options along with 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The handset is also rumoured to offer 4GB Virtual RAM support.

On the software front, the device is expected to run Android 12 out of the box with Funtouch 12 UI on top. In terms of imaging, the handset is rumoured to feature a triple-camera setup. The camera module may include a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. While at the front, the handset might include a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

The device could pack a 4,500mAh battery that might offer 44W fast charging support. As per the recent leak, the handset will launch in Sunshine Gold and Stardust Black colour variants. Apart from the Vivo V23 specifications, the specifications of the V23 Pro are leaked as well. If the rumours are to be believed, the Vivo V23 Pro will come equipped with Dimensity 1200 SoC. The device is supposed to feature a 108MP main camera and a 50MP dual selfie camera. The other key features which both these devices will offer include 5G network connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
