Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is preparing for the launch of the budget-friendly Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y02s. This upcoming smartphone from Vivo was recently spotted on the Geekbench website. The benchmark listing revealed that the Y02s will come with Helio P35 SoC and 3GB of RAM. Now, in a recent development, some more specifications of the device (via: MySmartPrice) have been revealed by Vivo. This new smartphone was recently listed by Vivo on its global website ahead of the official launch.
The listing revealed the design and some more specifications of the Vivo Y02s. As per the details exposed by the listing, we can see that the Vivo Y02s will have a dual-camera setup on the back and a water-drop-shaped display. Let us have a closer look at the specs of the phone.
Vivo Y02s Specifications (Leaked)
Going through the preliminary listing on the Vivo website reveals that the Vivo Y02s will feature a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with a HD+ resolution. The handset will have a water-drop-shaped notch at the top of the display and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by an octa-core Helio P35 processor. The System On Chip will include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone will have a polycarbonate back panel.
As per the Geekbench test result, the device will boot Android 11 out of the box. The imaging aspect of the handset will be handled by a dual-camera setup comprising an 8MP single camera and a secondary sensor. On the front side, the handset will sport a 5MP selfie camera.
Additionally, a 5,000mAh battery will power the device. As per the leaked images, the smartphone will offer up to 18 hours of online HD video streaming, 7 hours of gaming, or 22 hours of music playback. Furthermore, the device will support 10W charging via a USB Type-C port. The smartphone will debut in Fluorite Black and Vibrant Blue colour options, as per the newly leaked images.
