Vivo is gearing up to launch a few budget phones in the Y series which is aimed at first-time smartphone buyers. The two newest additions to the lineup are the Y02s and the Y16. Both these models are expected to support 4G, and would very likely be placed under the 15K price bracket.
The names of these two future devices, along with some of their important specs, have been confirmed after they were discovered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The Vivo Y16 also received the BIS certification in India, while the Y02s were recently seen on Geekbench. Let’s take a look at the details.
Vivo Y02s And Y16 Specifications
The Vivo Y02s (V2203) is powered by a Helio P35–the same chipset as the Y01 from earlier this year. This has been verified by the phone’s Geekbench listing. The phone is expected to have a 6.51-inch HD+ display, 3GB RAM, and 32GB storage. It will come with Android 12, which is a step up from the previous generation model as it ran Android 11 Go Edition. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging.
