Vivo will soon add a new handset to its Y-series in the Indian market. OnSiteGo has exclusively learnt through an industry source that the Vivo Y21G will be launched this month in the country. Alongside the moniker of the upcoming device, the industry source has also revealed the complete specifications of the upcoming Vivo Y21G.
The upcoming Vivo Y21G will offer a large HD+ display and a 13MP dual-rear camera setup. The handset will be powered by a MediaTek processor and a 5,000mAh battery. Let us take a closer look at the Vivo Y21G specifications and features.

The Vivo Y21G will feature a 6.51-inch display with an HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. We can expect it to be an LCD panel and feature a waterdrop notch. Powering the device will be a MediaTek MT6769 processor. The handset will retail in 4GB + 64GB configuration in the country. The upcoming Y21G will also support 1GB of Extended RAM.
Talking about the cameras, the Y21G will offer a dual-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The camera setup will include a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, it will come equipped with an 8MP front shooter and aura screen light feature. The upcoming Y21G will offer several camera features including HDR, Super Macro, and Personalized Portrait Mode.

The industry source tells us that the Y21G will also be the slimmest handset with a 5,000mAh battery. The handset will weigh 182grams and will be around 8mm in terms of thickness. The upcoming Vivo device will also be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo Y21G will be available in two colour options – Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow. It will boot FunTouchOS 12, based on Android 11.
