Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone in China: Vivo Y32. It is the world’s first smartphone to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. The device has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Vivo Y32 has a dual-camera setup and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The phone comes in Blue and Foggy Night colour variants. Vivo has not revealed if it has plans to launch the phone outside of China.

The Vivo Y32 has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (1,600 x 720 pixels), a 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 89% screen-to-body ratio, and a waterdrop-shaped notch. Under the hood, the Vivo 32 comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. The device has 8GB RAM (with 4GB Virtual RAM) and 128GB internal storage, and there’s support for storage space expansion via the microSD card slot.
On the rear, there is a dual-camera setup that includes a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, the Vivo Y32 has an 8MP selfie camera. The device runs Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The company claims that the Vivo Y32 can last 27 days of standby time, 13 hours of gaming, 143 hours of music playback, or 13 hours of video watching after a full charge.
Connectivity features of the Vivo Y32 include a dual-SIM card slot, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone measures 164.26×76.08x8mm and weighs 182g. For enhanced security, the device features a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The smartphone also supports face unlock through the selfie camera.
