Today, Vu has launched the Vu Premium 32-inch Smart TV in India. The TV runs Linux OS out of the box with support for apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, YouTube Music, and Eros Now. The Vu Premium TV is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor. It features a 60Hz refresh rate display that has up to 500 nits of peak brightness. The Vu Premium Smart TV boasts of a 32-inch D-LED display that has 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. The display panel has a 178-degree viewing angle, 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 300 nits of brightness. Furthermore, the display is bezel-less and also has an Adaptive Contrast feature. The Adaptive Contrast feature enhances the details and contrast in on-screen pictures by darkening dark parts and lightening light areas. Powering the TV is 64-bit quad-core processor which is accompanied by a Mali-470 GPU.
The Smart TV ships with 1GB RAM and packs 4GB of internal storage. On the software front, the TV runs on Linux operating system. The TV supports a host of apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, YouTube Music, Eros Now, and YuppTV. It also has an audio-only mode which lets you play music without any visuals. The audio output on the TV is handled by 20W speakers which have Dolby Audio support. The TV also has support for external sound systems. Users can connect additional devices through Audio Return Channel (ARC), optical, or Aux input.
The other connectivity features the Smart TV offers include 2.4GHz Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n single-band support, two USB ports, two HDMI ports, an AV input, and an audio jack. Furthermore, the TV is bundled with a Vu IR remote which has quick access to YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube Music, Browser, apps, and internet browsers.
