As it turns out, WhatsApp is facing a bunch of issues, including a peculiar bug, which forces the app to display a single tick mark even when the message has been delivered. Get the latest technology news, reviews, and opinions on tech products right into your inboxWe have independently tested the ongoing WhatsApp bug, and have found out that even after the recipient has read a message, WhatsApp is unable to provide the sender with the double tick (Grey and Blue both) prompt. This could potentially create a lot of confusion amongst the WhatsApp users.
Furthermore, we have verified that several WhatsApp accounts have been affected with the bug, and have not been able to send messages in WhatsApp groups as of late. The Pending clock icon keeps showing up even when the device is connected to the internet. We tried using different internet connections, including our carrier data network and a couple of Wi-Fi networks, but to no avail.
We hope that WhatsApp will soon be able to identify the bug and will resolve the issue. As for now, WhatsApp users will have to face the inconvenience.
