WhatsApp Chatbot For In-App Announcements
As spotted by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is developing a chatbot that will deliver in-app notifications about new features coming to the applications. These announcements will also offer you tips and tricks for WhatsApp, as well as updated policies concerning privacy and security.
The report adds that you will not be able to reply to the chat as it is read-only. Furthermore, it is end-to-end encrypted, ensuring that they will not be intercepted by third parties. You will also get the option to block the chat if you do not wish to get messages from WhatsApp.
