Xiaomi’s thin and light smartphone, the Xiaomi 11 Lite, received the MIUI 13 based on Android 12 firmware update earlier this month. Now, its more powerful version, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has started receiving the MIUI 13 update based on Android 12 OS in India. Previously, the smartphone was running on MIUI 12.5 Enhanced stable update, which was based on the Android 11 OS. The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G MIUI 13 update comes to India a month after it started rolling out in a few markets.
The latest MIUI 13 update promises 23 percent improved app fluidity and smoother frames in the UI compared to the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version. You can also experience new dynamic and static wallpapers, enhanced UI Elements, Mi Smart Hub, a new sidebar feature, and new widgets.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G: Features, Specifications
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is super slim with a thickness of just 6.81mm and weighs just 158 grams. The handset flaunts a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 800 nits brightness. The display gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered with a 5G capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor built on the 6nm fabrication process. The smartphone is equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The device gets a triple-camera setup at the rear, which includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP telephoto-macro camera. For selfie addicts, it comes with a 20MP front shooter. The handset is powered by a 4,250mAh battery coupled with 33W fast charging.
