Xiaomi India launched the Mi 10i handset back in January 2021 in India. Now, the company is all set to launch its successor. Xiaomi India Head, Manu Kumar Jain, took to Twitter to make a formal announcement for the same. As per the announcement, the Xiaomi 11i Series will launch on January 6 in the country. The hashtags used in the social media post revealed that the Xiaomi 11i series will consist of at least two handsets—the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.
Xiaomi’s official teaser also confirms that the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will make use of the company’s proprietary 120W HyperCharge fast charging tech. With this technology, the handset will charge from 0 to 100 percent in just 15 minutes. With 120W charging, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will also be the fastest charging device in India.
A micro-site has also gone live on Flipkart which reveals some key specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 11i handsets. The Flipkart micro-site confirms some of the key specifications including 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity processor, 108MP camera, and four color variants—gradient blue, black, green, and purple.
The micro-site more or less confirms the earlier rumour which claimed that the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge are nothing but a rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ respectively. To those unaware, the Redmi Note 11 Pro series devices were launched back in October in China.
