Xiaomi Global VP and India Head, Manu Kumar Jain, has teased the MIUI 13 on Twitter. The latest MIUI 13 is built on the Android 12 and was introduced in China in 2021. Select Xiaomi, Mi, Redmi, and Poco branded phones and tablets will be upgraded to MIUI 13. The closed beta rollout for Xiaomi phones in China commenced on December 29, 2021. The MIUI 13 stable update for Xiaomi-branded smartphones in China is scheduled to roll out from the end of January 2022. But, now it seems that the global rollout is also very close.
The teaser reads, “The time has come. Stay tuned for MIUI 13,” which suggests that the launch is near. However, the teaser doesn’t reveal the exact date. Xiaomi is believed to launch its latest Redmi Note 11 series of smartphones globally on January 26. It is speculated that the company might debut the MIUI 13 alongside the new budget smartphones.
