Alongside the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro, Xiaomi also announced the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12 Yibo Edition smartphones in the Chinese market. Similar to the Redmi Note 12 Pro, the Note 12 Pro+ is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor and a 5,000mAh battery. The major highlights of the Note 12 Pro+ are a 200MP camera setup and 120W fast charging support.

Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G: Price And Availability
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ comes in two configurations—8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. It will be available for purchase starting October 30, 2022 in China. The company hasn’t revealed details regarding the global availability of the device. Check out the variant-wise pricing below:

Redmi Note 12 Yibo Edition: Price And Availability
Xiaomi has also introduced a special edition in collaboration with celebrity Yibo Wang—the Redmi Note 12 Yibo Edition. The Yibo Edition features the same specifications as that of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. It features a dual-tone design in black and green colourways. The Yibo Edition comes in 8GB + 256GB configuration and is priced at RMB 2,599 (approx. ₹29,613). It will be available for purchase starting November 11, 2022 in China.

The all-new Note 12 Pro+ flaunts a 120Hz OLED display panel with a Full HD+ (1,080 × 2,400 pixel) resolution, 900 nits peak brightness, 50,00,000:1 contrast ratio, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel measures 6.67-inch diagonally and features HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certifications.
Under the hood, the latest Note series device sports an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor. The Dimensity 1080 is fabbed on TSMC’s 6nm process and brings with it an integrated Mali G68 GPU. It comes paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The handset boots MIUI 13, based on Android 12.
The all-new Note 12 Pro+ comes equipped with a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung HMX sensor with OIS support. Accompanying the high-resolution sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119° field of view and an F2.2 aperture. There is also a 2MP macro sensor along with an LED flash at the back. The handset relies on a 16MP front shooter for video calls and selfies.
The latest Note series smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit and 120W fast charging support. It features a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. On the security front, it offers an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack and a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ comes in three colour options—Midnight Dark, Time Blue, and Mirror Porcelain White. It weighs 208.4 grams and measures 162.9 × 76.0 × 8.98mm. Connectivity options of the device include dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and Beidou.
