Xiaomi has announced a new list of smartphones that will no longer receive firmware updates. This means that they will not get security vulnerability reports either. 10 Xiaomi devices have been added to the smartphone maker’s end-of-support (EOS) list.

- Redmi Note 7
- Redmi Note 70S
- Redmi Note 7 Pro
- Redmi 7
- Redmi Y3
- Mi Pad 4
- Mi Pad 4 Plus
- Mi Play
- Mi 9 SE
Xiaomi usually seeds security updates for its devices for a duration of at least two years from the date of launch. The aforementioned devices will no longer receive such updates.

The Redmi Note 7 launched around three years back in India. The smartphone has received only one Android update so far, which is Android 10. The Redmi K20 Pro has also been around for nearly three years. Notably, the 10 Xiaomi devices missed out on the latest MIUI 13 update which was rolled out in February this year.
