Ola Electric has announced a new campaign which guarantees to deliver the S1 Pro electric scooter in just 14 days. The program, touted as the Hyper Mode, has reportedly delivered scooters to some customers within 24 hours of booking.
The company sent out emails to limited number of potential buyers, informing them of a guaranteed 14-day delivery for the S1 Pro electric scooter. However, it did not say when the 14-day window commences. The company also does not mention what will happen if it fails to deliver on its promise.

The company has significantly scaled up production, and has registered nearly 13,000 electric scooters in the month of April alone. However, the quality of scooters remains questionable. There have been various reports of the S1 Pro catching fire across the country.
Besides battery issues, software issues have also cropped up. The S1 Pro electric scooter was seen stuck in reverse mode and running at a high speed. There have been cases of issues with power delivery on slippery surfaces.
Buyers who are not fazed by such problems can book the Ola S1 Pro for ₹499. When the buying window opens, the customer will have to confirm the purchase by paying ₹20,000. The remaining amount will have to be paid as the delivery date approaches. Additionally, customers will have to pay the refundable FAME-II subsidy amount.
Just recently, Ola Electric hiked the price of its flagship Ola S1 Pro electric scooter by ₹10,000. This brings the current price of the S1 Pro to ₹1,39,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), before FAME-II and state subsidies.
