If you are aware of such password managers, you might have come across 1Password. 1Password is one of the widely used password managers, especially in the Android ecosystem. The company has recently announced the latest version of the app, 1Password 8, which comes with a host of major changes that are worth looking at.
Let’s take a look at what the the latest 1Password 8 build has in store for us.
1Password 8 Update: What’s In Store?
One of the major highlights of the new update for 1Password is the tweaked app UI and customization options. With the latest update, users will be able to customise the app’s UI according to their liking with the customizable Home tab. 1Password says that not all users use apps in the same way, and adds that each user deserves to have the ability to add a layer of customization to the app depending on their preferences.

Furthermore, the latest 1Password update brings about the ability for users to pin individual fields to the home screen, which will invariably allow for a much quicker password access. The update also comes with a new Watchtower feature, which will give users a bird’s-eye view of their passwords and the overall security health of their accounts. Thus, users will easily be able to identify passwords that might have been compromised by a data leak or might be too weak in the first place.
The latest Android version of 1Password will now be utilizing the new 1Password Core, which also powers the desktop version of the app. This will ensure a more stable, secure, and a faster experience than ever before.
For now, the 1Password 8 build is available only as part of an early preview, but we can expect the stable build to start rolling out in the coming weeks. For the time being, if you want to check out 1Password 8, you can download the same from the Google Play Store.
