Acer has announced a couple of new laptops, dubbed the Acer Swift 3 and Acer Swift 5, in the global market. Acer’s newest laptops feature Intel’s latest CPUs and come in Full HD and Quad HD display variants. While the Acer Swift 3 will be priced in $849.99 (€1,199) in the US, the Acer Swift 5 will cost $1,499 (€1,799).

Acer Swift 3 Specifications
The Acer Swift 3 comes in three colour variants—black, gold, and blue/green. The laptop is powered by Intel’s 12th-generation processors, which are coupled with up to 2TB of SSD storage. However, the brand has not revealed how much RAM the device has. As far as the battery life is concerned, Acer touts four hours of battery life with just 30 minutes of charge.
Coming to the display, the Acer Swift 3 has a 16:9 aspect ratio display and is available in either Full HD or Quad HD resolution. Additionally, both variants support touch input. Furthermore, the Acer Swift 3 comes with a native Full HD webcam with Temporal Noise Reduction. Connectivity options include two USB Type-C ports, two Type-A ports, and an HDMI 2.1 port.

Acer Swift 5 Specifications
Coming to the Acer Swift 5, the laptop has a 2,560 × 1,600 resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The device appears to have fairly minimal bezels, as it has a 92.2% screen-to-body ratio. Like the Acer Swift 3, the Acer Swift 5 also has support for touch input. To protect the display from scratches and bacteria from developing on the surface, the Acer Swift 5 comes with antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The Acer Swift 5 features a Full HD MIPI camera with Acer’s proprietary Temporal Noise Reduction technology, which is useful while making video calls even when lighting is not ideal. Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C) ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and 2 USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
