Acer has launched the Swift Edge clamshell laptop, which is powered by the AMD Ryzen 6800U octa-core processor. The laptop is marketed as an ultra-portable device, thanks to its small form factor.

The Acer Swift Edge laptop features an AMD Ryzen 6800U octa-core processor. It is accompanied by 4MB of L2 cache and 16MB of L3 cache. Additionally, it has a clock speed of 2.7 GHz that can be boosted to 4.7 GHz. The laptop comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory as well as a 1 TB SSD for internal storage.
When it comes to the display, the laptop has a 16-inch 4K (3840 x 2400) OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. The display has 500 nits of peak brightness and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Additionally, it has a screen-to-body ratio of 92%. The display is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and TÜV Rheinland EyeSafe certified for a comfortable viewing experience.

As for connectivity, the Acer Swift Edge laptop comes with two USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 ports, one HDMI 2.1 output with HDCP support, and a TRRS audio jack. Furthermore, the webcam has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 FHD and comes with two near-field mics for audio. The keyboard is flanked by upward-firing speakers with support for DTS audio. The laptop also includes various security features, including an integrated Microsoft Pluton security processor which protects sensitive data and encryption keys.
The Acer Swift Edge features a three-cell, 54Wh battery. Acer claims that it can play videos for up to 10.5 hours. The laptop runs for 7.5 hours on the MobileMark 2018 benchmark.
The laptop is lightweight, weighing a mere 1.2kg. It has a 13mm ultra-thin magnesium-aluminium chassis.

The Acer Swift Edge laptop is priced at $1,500 (around ₹1,23,500). It comes with 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD for internal storage.
