Make sure your AirPods are connected to your device via Bluetooth. (Keep the button on your AirPod case pressed to connect it to your device)
2. Once you are logged in, you will see a list of all the connected Apple devices with blue, green and gray dots, including your AirPods. (These coloured dots signify the status of your device. Blue shows the device you are currently logged in to, Green signifies that you are online and Gray signifies that you are either offline, running out of battery or out of coverage area)
3. Next, select AirPods and tap Play Sound. You will hear a tracking sound to help you find them.
If you are searching for just one earbud, you can mute the earbud that you already have (right or left) on your device’s screen and just find the missing one. Once you find the earbud, you can stop the sound by tapping Stop Playing on your device.
In case, your AirPods are out of battery or are not within the range of your Apple device, you will unfortunately have to find it the old fashioned way, by searching for it yourself without the help of the app. However, the app can help you find where they were last powered or used.
