Five years back, Google debuted the Android Go edition, which arrived as a mobile platform for budget phones. Following the Android 13 release in August this year, Google has now announced the Android 13 Go edition. The OS is touted to offer reliability, usability, as well as customization options. Here’s what Android 13 Go edition has on offer:
Android 13 Go Edition Features
With Android 13 Go edition, low-cost phones will now get Google Play System Updates. The software giant states that this will ensure that software updates won’t require a lot of storage space. This is especially advantageous for entry-level phones, where storage is scarce. With this, the smartphone will no longer have to wait for a big software release to stay up-to-date.
The latest Go edition brings with it a new Discover feed, which will let users view a customised list of articles. The OS also debuts Material You on Go edition smartphones. Material You lets you match your wallpaper with your phone’s colour scheme. You can choose from four colour schemes whenever you set the wallpaper.
