After a soft launch in February, Apex Legends Mobile is finally coming to Android and iOS devices this month. Game maker Respawn Entertainment has confirmed via Twitter that it will make its way to mobile “later this month”. However, the exact launch date was not revealed.
Apex Legends Mobile is being developed by Respawn and Tencent’s LightSpeed & Quantum Studios. The latter has also created PUBG Mobile. It will be completely free-to-play, just like its console and PC counterparts. Also, it will come with new battle passes, collectible cosmetics, and unlockables.

Apex Legends Mobile: New Features
Apex Legends Mobile will offer a few features that are exclusive to the mobile version, such as mobile-only Legends, maps, and more. However, mobile players will only be allowed to play against other players on mobile. Cross-play between PC, console, and mobile will not be possible.
Fortunately, Apex Legends Mobile will include your favourite Legends from the PC/console version. Design director Jordan Patz said, “We’ve built this game from the ground up with mobile-first optimisations and mobile exclusive content to make sure that the game feels like Apex while also fresh and new at the same time. To do that, we’re starting with 10 Legends out of the gate, with favourites like Wraith, Octane, Bloodhound, and Pathfinder”.
Patz added, “We do have mobile exclusive game modes, we do have new ways to play with your friends, and new ways to invest in and explore the world of Apex Legends”. He promised that the mobile game will feature “a tonne of new stuff” and more information will be divulged in the coming weeks.
Additionally, Respawn also announced Apex Legends Season 13 entitled “Saviors”. The new season will launch on May 10 and will feature a new Legend Newcastle. Moreover, expect the Storm Point map to get major upgrades.
