Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro With M2 Chip To Be Available For Preorder Starting June 17

During the WWDC 2022 event last week, Apple announced the 2022 MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro with the new M2 chip. Yesterday, the Cupertino-based tech giant revealed the preorder date and the availability of the new Macbook Pro model. As per the details shared by Apple, the MacBook Pro with an M2 chip will be available for preorder starting this Friday, June 17th. To recall, the new MacBook Pro from Apple comes with a 13-inch Full HD+ display. It is powered by a new M2 chip which comprises an 8-core CPU and a 10-Core GPU. Furthermore, it offers 20 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Apple MacBook Pro 2022 Pricing, Availability

The 13-inch MacBook Pro is priced at ₹1,29,900 for which users get an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the top-of-the-line model costs ₹1,49,900, and it comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The Macbook Pro preorder will start from June 17th at 5:30 PM IST. Customers will start receiving their shipment on June 24th. The Macbook Pro is available on Apple.com, the Apple Store app, and Apple authorized resellers.

Apple MacBook Pro 2022 Specifications

The MacBook Pro 2022 boasts a 13-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution. It has 500 nits peak brightness and the same design as that of the previous 2022 model. Powering the MacBook Pro is the brand’s all-new M2 chipset. This new M2 chip from Apple now includes an 8-core CPU, a 10-core GPU, and it offers an 18 percent performance boost compared to the M1 chipset. The processor also has up to 24GB of unified memory support and 2TB of SSD storage.

As far as the rest of the key features go, the MacBook Pro has support for Wi-Fi 6, Thunderbolt ports, an active cooling system, a Touch Bar, Touch ID, and an advanced camera ISP for webcam output. As for the battery life, the MacBook Pro can last for 20 hours on a single charge. Additionally, the battery has support for fast charging.
